Elias lived as a normal boy in New York City, he headed to school everyday, he wasn't what you would call a troublemaker, but for some reason he was chased out of every school he went to. He had a close friend named Juliet, she was his best friend who was the daughter of the Mayor. She could have been a great political speaker, and maybe even the president. He loved her dearly, but as they were walking to the bus stop one day, an odd feeling came over Elias, he felt as if they were being watched. The bushes rustled, and a Minotaur jumped out of the bushes and pounced on Juliet, she fought back vigorously but the Minotaur jammed his horn through her chest as Elias tried to push the Minotaur off of her, it began chasing him and he ran as fast as he could, he managed to hide behind a corner and a couple of kids wearing Orange t-shirts and blue jeans picked him up and took him to Camp Half blood, he doesn't know what this place is. He hasn't forgiven himself for being such a coward and not protecting Juliet. He is awfully down because of it.
