Personality: Camilla's very self-conscious of her wings, thinking they are a curse to her. She also believes they make her an ugly human being for not being like other people. She'll often hide them under a jacket or a large shirt to prevent anyone from seeing them. Camilla admires birds because they're allowed to have wings without being known as ugly or out of the norm. They're also free of all the cares in the world, and she also envies them for it. Wishing to be closer to the sky, she'll often climb trees and stay up there for hours just watching the world go by. Camilla lived in Italy the majority of her life. After an incident with some birds and a nuclear reactor in the Italian country, she began to experience changes. She was frightened, and her parents were just as worried. Word spread to America about the winged girl through a spy the American government had placed in Italy during this time. The government sent some men and plucked Camilla out of her home, dragging her to America kicking and screaming. Eventually, they grew weary of her rebellion against them, so they put her out. When she awoke, Camilla was somewhere completely unfamiliar to her. She had been taken and imprisoned in District Four.
