Born in Montgomery, Alabama, by his teenage biological mother, Susey Kyles, he was immediately put up for adoption due to his mother being not only teenage but poor and living on her own with her boyfriend, who was not his father. He does not know his biological father, he left her when she told him she was pregnant. He visits his biological mother every once in a while and loves her dearly, but shows no problems in being adopted. He loves his adoptive parents just as much, and has no problem with it.
When she was of legal age and married, he got the news he would soon have a biological little sister. She was going to keep her, but it was arranged he could come visit and see her at any time.
Now in the high school, he finds his place in sports, music, and various arts. He is an incredibly nice kid with a can-do attitude, and is highly popular. He has tons of friends and loves them all. He gets good grades and has high hopes for the future.
He has snuck six pigs into the school and into the dorm, and the headmaster does not know. He also has a pet jackal named Ollie.
