H I S T O R Y Genevieve was born into a very abusive family, along with her older brother, Benjamin. Both parents, Jane and Ashton beat them both black and blue, and even went as far as to break their bones. Their parents had been drunks, and drug abusers, and when they were sober, they were as terrible parents as they would be under the influence. Genevieve was expected to bring home the best of the best grades, otherwise her beatings were even worse. If she got lower than a 90%, she was given a beating, and if she failed? That's where the broken bones were brought into place. Genevieve has trust issues, and only trusts her brother, and doctors. She has never been afraid of doctors, because of the countless times they have helped her. The parents also caused emotional and mental damage, yelling and degrading their children, making them feel as if they were worth nothing. Many times in her life, Genevieve had considered the option of suicide, simply taking her life and being done with it all. Benjamin had always talked her out of it, comforted her when he could. One day, when her brother had been out late, her parents got very mad, taking out the anger on her. They beat her near to death, until the doors were broken down, and police and social workers came rushing in at the perfect time. Jane and Ashton were sent to jail, and both the children were meant to be in foster care. However, Benjamin, wanting his sister to have a better life, convinced them to let her go to the Blairine Boarding School, even if it meant they would be split up. Now, Genevieve is finally entering the school, wondering how long it will take before she receives the abuse she once got.
